We absolutely loved our stay at Langwathby Station - Scotsman and Yorkshireman. My wife, our 3-year-old daughter, and I were thoroughly impressed with this unique and charming property. The furnishings and furniture are beautiful, creating a cozy and welcoming ambiance that made us feel right at home. Our daughter was fascinated by the station setting, which added an extra layer of charm to the experience.
Even though the property is located on a station, the trains passing through were surprisingly quiet and didn’t disturb us at all. It felt peaceful and relaxing, which made the location even more appealing.
The kitchen was a real highlight – it was well-equipped with modern appliances, making meal prep easy and enjoyable. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, which we really appreciated as a family.
We also loved the convenience of the location. It’s just a 4-minute walk to a lovely pub and a convenience store, which made it easy to grab a meal or pick up essentials without needing to venture far.
Overall, this was an ideal family getaway for us. The combination of charm, comfort, and convenience made it a truly memorable stay. We’d happily come back and highly recommend it to others!
